Field Tests October 19
Maxon Technicians with engineers from Korea conducted some field driving tests in Sydney last week starting from Parramatta through Padstow, Liverpool all the way to Penrith. Most of the areas the test was conducted in are now covered by the new Telstra Next G network.
The new MiniMax HSDPA modem adapted well to the different network conditions averaging FTP download speeds of 1.2 Mbps even without using an external antenna plugged straight in to the laptop.
The User Interface software (UI) is going through some fine tuning and for those of you who have used Maxon product before, the new MiniMax UI has a different look altogether and is relatively simple to use.

I hope you are paying the same attention to Mac OSX UI Software for the new Minimax.
Sounds good!
Does the new MiniMax still use a Y-cable for additional power?
Greg,
The new MiniMax will not come with a Y-cable. It has external antenna capabilities, which are more useful in low coverage situations.
I don’t usually post but I enjoyed your blog a lot, thanks alot for the great read.
Howdy I’m curious if I may use this post in one of my blogs if I link back to you? Thanks
I could retort Life loves to be taken by the lapel and toldI’m with you kid. Let’s go.’ or might possibly I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.
Oh, superb post! I have no clue how you were able to write this report..it’d take me long hours. Well worth it though, I’d assume. Have you considered selling ads on your website?
Thanks for the interesting things you have revealed in your post. One thing I would really like to reply to is that FSBO associations are built over time. By introducing yourself to the owners the first end of the week their FSBO will be announced, prior to a masses start off calling on Thursday, you produce a good link. By sending them methods, educational elements, free reviews, and forms, you become a good ally. If you take a personal affinity for them and also their situation, you develop a solid network that, most of the time, pays off as soon as the owners decide to go with a realtor they know along with trust – preferably you actually.
