ExpressCard – no go. March 27
After considering the market, and our development resources, we’ve decided not to pursue the development of an Express Card Next G modem. We’ll concentrate on our USB solutions, and our industrial/telemetry customers.
We know that for a lot of Mac OS users this is an issue (not to mention other brand laptops that only have Express Card slots), however we feel that the USB modems provide a solution everyone can use, and so prefer to make that solution the best we can rather than split our resources.
After buying a Dell laptop that only came with an express card slot, I am in the market for an express card. I was led to your site by various people who were waiting for the express card.
I for one, and I am not alone, will not purchase a USB solution for my laptop that has a perfectly good express card slot waiting to be used.

As indicated we won’t be producing an Express Card Next G modem. There are other manufacturers who are producing this product, in fact I believe that BigPond currently sells one!
