The upgrade also includes a vastly improved Telstra Turbo Modem(tm) Manager, which we recommend you upgrade to.

Mac OS RC Software

The Release Candidate (non-beta) version of the Mac OS software for our Next G modems has been delayed slightly due to the need to incorporate a firmware update client.  However it’s fast approaching completion, so while the final development and testing occurs, here’s a preview of some of it’s features:

  • Significantly more stable than the BETA versions
  • PIN unlock support
  • Profile management
  • Improved interface (with system bar icon and menu)
  • Firmware update client
  • Auto-software updates
  • Supports multiple simultaneous modem connections

It’s looking good folks, shouldn’t be long now.  Once again, thank you for your patience!

Update on the Update on the EtherMax

After finding out that there will be no production at the factory Web/Thu/Fri this week (due to a public holiday), we’re expecting stock in hand by late next week.

Update on Ethernet docking station.

While there has been a lack of news recently about the docking station development we haven’t forgotten it.

We are now in the final stages of production!  The firmware has been finalized, marketing decisions settled, design work complete.  We will possibly have stock of these units by Friday next week (3rd August), if not then early the week after.  We’ve decided to keep the branding we had from our CDMA days, so this unit will also be called EtherMax.
Once again, we are very grateful for your patience with us over this time.  The development took significantly longer than we had anticipated, and for this we apologize.

As a side note, we’re also revamping our online store (which is currently only used to sell external antennas), which will mean you will be able to purchase the EtherMaxes online in the very near future!
