Restoring the Modmax Serial Modem to Factory Default Settings

This week we will discuss how to restore the Modmax serial modem to factory default settings, first we will restore the serial port settings like baud rate, flow control DCD and ignore circuit settings by sending AT&F AT command to the modem via serial or USB port. After sending this command you have to use the default baud rate of the Modmax which is 115200 bps.

Now to restore the IPSTack settings to factory default you actually have to clear $$IPCTRIP and $$IPCFL values manually. Using the AT command line below (copy and past on your terminal program), it should restore the modem IPSTack to default settings.

“at$$spc=356758;$$dsid=TELSTRA_PPP_ID;$$dspw=;$$ipctrip=0;$$ipcfl=0,0;$$ipcfl=1,0;$$ipcfl=2,1;$$ipcfl=3,10;$$ipcfl=4,0;$$ipcfl=5,10;$$ipcfl=6,1450;$$ipcfl=7,60;$$ipcfl=8,3;$$ipcfl=9,60;$$ipctrip=0;$$ipctrip=1;+cgdcont=1;+cgdcont=2;+cgdcont=3″
