Configuring Unimax HSUPA as a VPN Client

Further to configuring the Unimax HSUPA as a Server, following is information on how to configure Unimax HSUPA as a VPN Client. Once configured, Unimax will connect to a VPN Server as a client and establish a VPN session remotely.

Control and Automate your Applications over IP network using Web Relay Ethernet I/O devices and Maxon Unimax Modem

Web Relay Ethernet I/O devices have taken M2M automation in to the Next Generation providing easy and reliable way to monitor & control devices. Web Relay Ethernet I/O devices provide accurate data acquisition over IP networks. Our data acquisition devices allow you to measure and monitor discrete or analog signals from a remote location. Properties such as position, water level, remote pumps, and sensors can be conveniently accessed over the web with a standard browser. Whatever your data acquisition needs may be, Web Relay Ethernet I/O devices make it simple! The web Relay units are designed for simplicity and rock-solid performance, making remote relay control straight-forward and dependable. The web Relay Ethernet I/O devices have built-in web servers, allowing them to be accessed by a standard web-browser. There is no special software, and no drivers to install.

Simply connect these units to any of Maxon’s versatile 3G Ethernet devices and these units can be configured to control or monitor any remote M2M application using the wireless WCDMA network. The web relays can also be configured to automatically operate a digital output at a different site in case of an event change at another site.

Next G outage over

It appears that the outage is now over.  Services should be working ok again.

Next G Network experiencing outage

We’ve been advised that the Next G network is currently experiencing nationwide issues.  The symptoms we’ve seen have been modems connecting, but not being able to browse at all.  We currently don’t have an ETA on a fix.
