Monash Professional
Group (MPG) develop and manufacture data logging
and GPS location systems. For many years the
GRM001 data logger/GPS tracking system has
provided the transport industry with a cost
effective method of monitoring all aspects of
their fleet operations: driver and vehicle
performance, safety, compliance and efficiency.
A vital part of any remote monitoring system is
the communications device. A robust, reliable
device is required, offering maximum network
coverage. MPG and Maxon established a successful
relationship initially through the use of the
GPM3000 CDMA modem. Later, with the advent of
CDMA 1xRTT and it’s higher data rates, the
MM5100 modem provided an excellent means of
sending data from remote regions. |

Many of MPG’s customers are
now in the process of migrating to the Telstra
Next GTM HSDPA network with it’s even
higher data rates and wider coverage. The Maxon
ModMax is an ideal replacement modem for
existing CDMA and CDMA 1xRTT users and we
foresee rapid growth in the use of this device
in new installations. |
