Did you know that you can configure your Unimax remotely if someone resets the WAN Connection settings?
You can reconfigure your Unimax remotely with the WAN basic settings as the APN, username, password and authentication, by sending an SMS message to your Unimax phone number

Maxon can you please post how to send this SMS and what the format is? Also is this something available in all different firmwares? What is the latest firmware for the Unimax modem and is this available on the maxon website.

Quick guide on how to setup the network credentials remotely via SMS

Change APN use following syntax (e.g. telstra.extranet)
UNIMAX.PARK.APN telstra.extranet

Change ID, Password and Authentication (username: maxon@maxon.com.au, password: maxon, Authentication: chap)
UNIMAX.PARK.AUTH maxon@maxon.com.au:maxon:chap

Check Settings and IP address of Unimax.
UNIMAX.PARK.WANIP

Reboot Unimax by SMS
UNIMAX.PARK.REBOOT
